Habs Send B's Reeling

It has not been a good start to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Bruins. The Canadiens have played aggressively and have scored early in both games. The Bruins played fairly well after the 1st period of the game 1, but Habs' netminder Carey Price denied all of the Bruins scoring chances.

Game 2 brought more of the same pain for the Bruins. Bruins captain Zdeno Chara was a late scratch for the Bruins, and they seemed lost in the early going without their top defenseman.  The Canadiens scored 2 goals before the game was 3 minutes old. Tim Thomas locked down after the early hiccups but the Bruins were once again unable to salvage a win in Boston, as Carey Price was impressive yet again. Patrice Bergeron had the only goal for the Bruins.

The Bruins move to Montreal to play tonights game and need to turn their fortune around in the upcoming games to avoid elimination. Game 3 is make or break for the B's.

  1. Game three was a good one im glad they came out with the win. Chara was a big help in the game. Maybe they should put in Rask. See if that will help them any. I guess we will see what happens, the bruins need to step up there game if they want to make the series tied.
