Tim Thomas Ends Historic Season

What a season it has been for the Bruin's goaltender Tim Thomas. Thomas posted career numbers for himself as well as setting the all-time single season save percentage record, posting an astonishing .938. Thomas also averaged giving up 2.00 goals per game for the season and recorded 9 shutouts in what should his second Vezina winning season. It was a tremendous season for the 36 year old goalie and it will be remembered for a long time.

In other news, the Bruins played Tuukka Rask in the finals against the New Jersey Devils, which the bruins dropped 3-2. Even coming off the loss the Bruins have a decent amount of momentum heading into the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, when Thomas looks to continue his dominant ways in net.

  1. I have to give it to him he did have a good season, even though i am not the biggest fan of Thomas. I feel like if he was in position more he wouldn't have to make these crazy saves, just my opinion. Rask is gonna be good the longer he stays in the league. He needs a shot to prove himself he is only 24 and has plenty of time to improve, even though he has done a good job. He never gets any help from the offense when he has a save percentage of .918 which is not a bad one
